Abstract: High grade breast cancer is recognized as more aggressive cancer type and is the worst survival prognostic. To explore the association of quantitative features extracted from mammograms with histological high-grade breast cancer. We conducted a retrospective study using an open source data got from figshare repository. These anonymized data were collected and used for a study approved by the institutional review board. Cranio-Caudal (CC) and Medio-lateral (MLO) mammograms and their tumor segmented images from 66 patients subdivided in two groups high histological grade (n=23) low-grade (low and intermediate, n=41). From breast cancer image segmentation, we extracted 480 features using python software radiomics package Pyradiomics 2.2. With the features extracted from CC and MLO images, we used them separately for histological high-grade breast, relevant feature selection. We performed univariate feature selection based on ANOVA test using machine learning python package: sklearn. A feature was considered relevant when P value is at least 0.05. At the end we represented the boxplot of the distribution of the low-and high-grade subject using each relevant feature selected. Twenty (20) CC images features were selected, seventen (17) were based on wavelets and three (3) were from original image. Their p values were ranged between 0.017 and 0.046. In the case of MLO features, four (04) relevant features were exclusively based on wavelets with 0.046 as the maximum p-value and 0.006 as minimum. These results suggested mammogram quantitative feature based on wavelets will be useful for high-grade breast cancer identification on mammographic image. In this study we explored the association between IBSI 2D quantitative features from mammogram with the histological high-grade breast cancer. Finally, we recorded twenty (20) relevant features from CC projection and four for MLO mammogram projection. Wavelets based features were more represented in relevant quantitative feature.

Abstract: Objective: Assessing the clinical application value of Ferric Citrate Effervescent granules (FAC) in magnetic resonance cholangio-pancreatography (MRCP) inspection. Methods: We invited 10 patients who were diagnosed with diseases of the pancreas system and bile duct system and undergoing magnetic resonance cholangio-pancreatography and use Ferric Citrate Effervescent granules in the MRCP process. The time of their MRCP is from May 2018 to February 2020. In addition, we collected the information from the participants, that the information included Sequence and scanning parameters of Mr Cholangiopancreatography, Image quality score before and after MRCP administration, contrast to noise ratio (CNR) score and comparison score of different parts in MRCP images before and after drug administration. Result: In scanning parameters, the data is standard in research, that the TR and TE of 2d MRCP and 3D MRCP are similar, that are > 6000 and > 500. But Layer thickness/Layer spacing between the objects had big gap in data, that are 50/0 and 1.8/0. Additionally, FOV had little different length, which is 40 vs 36. In NEX, they are same. In image quality score, it has higher score after taking the FAC. The CNR score research is similar, that FAC affect the CNR outcome. Conclusion: the FAC provide the improvement to the outcome of patient in MRCP process, that it improves image quality of MRCP.

Abstract: Mycetoma or fungus ball is a clump of mould which exists in the human body cavity caused by fungi of the genus Aspergillius. Simple aspergillomas are often asymptomatic however it can clinically present with Cough, haemoptysis and wheezing. The study was aimed at documenting the evolution of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) to pulmonary aspergiloma in patients with long-standing pulmonary tuberculosis. Chest radiographs and computed tomographic (CT) scans were evaluated to demonstrate the evolution of pulmonary tuberculosis to aspergiloma. The initial chest radiograph showed inhomogeneous opacities in the left upper lung zone with backgrounds nodular and streaky changes. Subsequent chest radiographs demonstrated thick walled cavitary lesion with an oval shaped mass within it having a surrounding crescentic halo. A plan radiologic diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis with subsequent development of pulmonary aspergiloma was made. Follow up contrast enhanced axial section chest CT scan showed a fairly well-defined non-enhancing iso-hyperdense lesion with a surrounding halo giving the air crescent sign at the left upper lung zone. Aspergiloma can be seen on both plain radiographs and computed tomograms. Mr A.D., a 49 year old male who presented with a history of cough of three weeks duration. The cough is productive of sputum and haemoptysis. He has taken anti-PTB drugs 4 times but is still presenting with cough due to pulmonary aspergiloma secondary to previous pulmonary tuberculosis, thus a need for radiologic pulmonary vigilance.

Abstract: There are many treatment options available for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) but the best choices for intermediate and advanced tumors are sometimes a matter of controversies. The aim of the work was to compare the combined Trans-catheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) with percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) against the technique of TACE alone in patients with unresectable HCC. The study included fifty patients proved radiologically to have hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) >5 cm in diameter and were not candidate for surgical resection. The patients were divided into two groups Group 1: Patients underwent single Trans-catheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) followed by four times of Percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) every other day. Group 2: Patients underwent repeated Trans-catheter arterial chemoembolization (the frequency of sessions was according to response of the patients). Complete resolution of HCC masses achieved in 60% in group 1 versus 52% in group 2. This complete resolution occurred earlier in group 1 than group 2. Group 1 had lower local recurrence rate than group 2. There was a statistically significant reduction in alpha-feto protein level at 3 months post interventional in group 1 and in both groups at 6 months. There was no significant difference between both groups in overall survival, So combined treatment could help in saving time and resources.
